interesting stuff. In clinical practice we always ask ppl to get a good pair of running shoe, whereas in fact barefoot running(acccording to the video) may be the better solution. But there is a drawback with barefoot running, as it does not protect you feet from pointy objects on the road.

Ofcourse. We definitely don't want individuals placing themselves at risk by attempting to run barefoot in areas that may have sharp objects. However, we may want to train them to run barefoot in areas such as grass and/or dirt to teach them how to proper load their feet and thus kinetic chain when running so that when they do don shoes they may continue to load in an efficient manner.
